The H&N Slug HP is a hunting slug that is significantly different from ordinary slugs due to its shape. It is designed for powerful rifles that can accurately fire such projectiles at targets at a distance of 50, 100 or even 200 meters. The highly favorable ballistic coefficient (BC) ensures a flat trajectory and excellent energy retention. To make it ideal for various barrel profiles and power levels, we offer three weight options (21, 27 and 30 grains). The muzzle energy of the rifle should be at least 25 joules, but for best results we recommend 40 to 60 joules. All balls are visually inspected one by one, hand packed and secured for shipping with foam.
